- DISH Network sealed deals with many of the sports leagues last week, NHL included. I have purchased the NHL Open Ice Season Ticket dealie. For $129, it seemed very reasonable, considering it will broadcast over 1000 games, plus the first two rounds of the playoffs... full entry

- I have a team. The recent trade of Nikolai Khabibulin to the team (my favorite goalie since Patrick Roy retired (pronounced “Wah”, Chris)) helped clinch the Chicago Blackhawks as “my team”. There were other factors, of course. Being able to see “my team” play live... full entry
