Avast ye, it’s a business ahead, arrrr!

Well, things are finally moving forward for my new business.  Took two banks and about forty-five days, but I am finally funded and my equipment has been ordered.  I’ve joined the trade organizations for the industry, and am finalizing my business cards and other marketing materials, with the addition of those associations’ logos.  Some of my equipment will be here as early as Friday, and the rest probably by Tuesday at the latest.

I spent all night last night putting together a new desk that is more conducive to functioning as an editing suite than my previous desk, and my “office” is in shambles while I’m emptying and moving furniture in and out.

For the curious, I have a posted a semi-complete equipment list.

Damn Derek, what kinda business is this your starting, sounds like a complete multimedia porn studio.

Mmm… porn.... <gaaaaahhhhhhhhhh>

(How the heck do you spell that sound Homer makes??)

Sounds like an awesome setup, Derek.  Can’t wait to see it in action in April!  Oh, and I think Simon and Stu might want to talk to you about a fanfilm… :D

I’m already trying to track down some Rodian masks....

For the porn, of course.

Just so happens I’m thinking of using Rodians in a proposed Star Wars fanfilm, hint, hint.

That list is wonderful… Here comes JFL - JonesFilm Limited!

Btw, good luck with this endevour Derek :D

Thanks Chris for passing on the news wink
