BrowserCam

I heard about this shortly after it launched last December, but I guess I never quite understood exactly what it did.  Whatever the case, I never actually looked in to it.  More’s the pity in this case.

BrowserCam is a fantastic resource for web developers.  It will let you see exactly how a site looks in multiple browsers across multiple platforms.  Don’t be confused, either—this isn’t an emulator or simulator.  Instead, it actually loads the site up in a real browser on the real OS and then does a screen capture of it.  Utterly indispensable for people who want cross-browser, cross-platform conformity.

This will be so great!  Thanks, Chris!  And BTW, good job on 2.3.  I’m upgrading right now.

The only thing I can see missing in the instructions is a reminder to delete the install.php file AFTER the new pm folders are uploaded.  But that’s no biggie; easy enough to fix!

The most painful part is re-installing all the hacks I did!  grin Otherwise, the installation seems to have gone smoothly!
