CAN-SPAM Act’s First Lawsuit
The first legal action under the federal anti-spam law, the CAN-SPAM Act, has been filed. A California ISP is suing a site for allegedly violating the new anti-spam laws. Any takers on who the defendant is? A penile-growth marketing firm? Online Viagra sales? A porn site? Debt consolidators? Credit Report providers? Nope. The Ultimate Home Improvement Site.
