Clickable Link Images in CSS

Dan Cederholm has put up yet another great article on his SimpleBits site.  This one covers clickable images for link backgrounds.  This really isn’t a new trick for me—I use the same approach for the little graphics next to the external links on this site—but it’s a nice summary post that could be useful to a lot of people.

This is an older entry and as such, it may be by a guest author or contain formatting problems / extraneous code. If you notice something wrong with the entry, please use the Contact page to let me know the entry title and issue.

Have a look to my web site.
I even managed to remove the need for an image file for building the different colored squares in the menu. All built with CSS!
