Dynamic Category Navigation
I posted a new Add-on for 
Machine: over on Lynda‘s site (since that site no longer exists, the link points directly to the zip file). It’s the Dynamic Category Navigation add-on, which was primarily written for a user from the pM forums. I figured it might be useful for others or could at least serve as a starting point for people doing other things.
The “highlighting” ability in the add-on is all :CSS: and uses the same system as I have here on this site for the main menu. You’ll notice that when you go to the Archives, or Galleries, or Movie Database that the corresponding menu entry is highlighted. It also makes use of code from my own Grabbing Category Names trick. Oh, and a customized version of pM’s standard “weblog_categories” tag.
