Firefly: The Movie
It appears that fan-favorite series “Firefly” (damn you Fox for cancelling it!!) will be getting a new breath of life now: it’s scheduled to go into production as a feature film “in first-quarter 2004”.
Firefly was an excellent series while it aired. It felt much like “the wild west in space” with deep, interesting characters, a great plot-line, good writing, and nice effects. Did I mention that it had the unbelievably gorgeous Morena Baccarin as a character?
Firefly (the series) is due out on DVD in December with all episodes, including those that weren’t aired on television. I’ll definitely be picking that one up.

Holy Schniekie! I don’t have much more to say about that. I hope he gets the same cast and doesn’t try to add any big names just to draw a crowd. Of course, the villain and crew are up for grabs. Someone British and sinister would do nicely. But I want the crew of the Firefly to stay the same.
