Help redesign the W3C

Well, not exactly.  This isn’t official and the entries won’t be submitted to the W3C.  “Er, what are you talking about?” you might be asking…

Well, recently, the W3C redesigned their site in XHTML (Strict) and CSS.  That’s a great thing to see except that the resulting design isn’t exactly the prettiest thing you’ve seen.  So, now you have the WthRemix, a contest where people redesign the homepage of the W3C.  Entries will be judged by a broad pannel and one winner and 3 honorable mentions will be awarded at the end.  So, flex those coding and design muscles and get to work!

This is an older entry and as such, it may be by a guest author or contain formatting problems / extraneous code. If you notice something wrong with the entry, please use the Contact page to let me know the entry title and issue.

Cool.  Do all of the designs have to be strictly in XHTML?

Yes, all entries have to be in XHTML 1.0 (Strict) and use CSS for layouts.  Follow the “WthRemix” link in the entry for all the real details.

Yea, I saw that after I had posted (teaches me to post without thinking, eh?).  Unfortunately I don’t know xHTML, or else I would give it a go.
