How to buy Ridge Racer for $24.24
Gamestop (within the past few days) has begun taking trade-ins on “no name” DVDs without cases for $1.50. Significant to note, if you trade in the same DVD with the case, they give $1.00. Now it just so happens that Wal-Mart sells a bunch of slimline cased DVD movies for $1.00 each (in some cities they may even be 88 cents). At my Wal-Mart, I found them in the book and magazine area, not with the other movies.
So buy a bunch of $1.00 movies from Wal-Mart, remove the discs from their cases, and take the stack down to Gamestop. I suggest calling first to make sure that they have this new trade-in in their system. Used DVD no case no artwork, or something like that. Trade them in, and use your Game Informer discount card to increase the trade-in value by 10%. Viola, you’ve made 65 cents for every dollar you spent at Wal-Mart.
