Maybe I won’t do that October trip this year…
Two bodies were found floating in the lake the other day at Devil’s Elbow camping area. This is two miles south of Shaw, where we made camp this year on the 2004 trip. Devil’s Elbow was the first choice for the camp area, and it was only near the last minute that I decided on Shaw.
I dunno how long the bodies have been there, surely not for more than a few days or weeks at most, but it still gives me the shivers thinking about turning a corner on a kayak to pull into your camping area and bumping your boat on a floating dead body.
