Mix Up Those Websites

Wow, this is really, really neat.  TopFX has a very cool utility that will let you mix style and content from two different websites.  You select the style/layout from one site and another site for the content.

I tried a quick one using my site for the layout and Paul’s site (reedmaniac.com) for the content.  I think the result is a blast to read and look at simply because it’s so interesting where the tool placed all the information.

ROFL!  No longer is it the ramblings of chris curtis and co., but:  Paul, covered suggestively with snow.

How come some of your content is in there too?

Yes, I really do like the Paul, covered suggestively with snow bit.  I wonder if anyone has done the Whitehouse.gov site and the Howard Dean site…

this is kinda neat, but it seems like an awful lot of coding for somthing amusing. then again thats what spare time is all about. Any practical uses for this?

^^^^^ none?

Practical uses?  Probably not too many, but there certainly are some.  It would be a quick way to check out what your site might look like with a different design; for instance if you’re thinking of changing your site and want to “try on” other designs.

now i didint think of that… interesting.
