Oranjeboom!

What be the laws on sending booze by mail? I could always be your supplier and send it as a “gift.”
Hey--there’s a good idea. You should set up a small fund that we both have access to, and you allow me to spend a certain amount per month on different beers to send to you. It’s obvious that I have the best beer distributor. It’s not a bad idea at all, if I can figure out what I can and can’t legally send to you, and how.
Geez, nevermind.
Even if I use the semi-shady way of convincing UPS to ship it, it would basically double the price of the beer. Stupid heads.
Hopefully the “Whip-In” (the “store that’s supposed to have an awesome beer selection") really will have a good selection. Assuming I ever get over there to check them out.
And B.B. Rovers obviously has a pretty darn good selection available, too—though it’s for drinking there and not taking home, of course.
I stumbled on this searching for a place to order Oranjeboom online...I bought it at Cardulos in Harvard Square 15 years ago and found it in Israel 10 years ago and have been dreaming about it ever since. I’d be willing to pay the UPS premium. All the stores with “great selections” in my area have a guy who looks at me whistfully when I mention Oranjeboom and says “Yeah, I tried that a bunch of years back...damn it was good. If you find anyone who carries it, let me know.”
I should mention that I apparently got the last bottle of Oranjeboom in the pub. The waitress said they’d be getting more in, but it might be a while. Oh well, can’t win ‘em all!
