Real Men of Genius

Not much to say here, except that I love Stephen Pastis.  You almost have to read him daily for most of his comics to make you laugh out loud, much like Gary Larson.  Isolated from the herd, and having no knowledge of the rest of the embodiment of works, it’s just very odd, a bit intriguing, but a bit groan-inducing.

At any rate--comics don’t challenge us enough anymore, and it’s rare that a comic artist can make me sit for a literal 12 seconds after I’ve read it trying to “get it.” Of course, now that you know that it’s obscure, it should be apparent instantaneously, as you now know to look for the odd.

Anyway, March 9th’s Pearls Before Swine.
