Soda Can Stove
I saw one of these incredibly awesome soda can stoves on my recent kayaking trip. One of the other kayakers, Randy, used one for cooking his meals. It’s incredibly cool because it weighs next to nothing, runs off of regular alcohol, and cooks surprisingly well. I can’t always say the same thing for all those other expensive backpacking/camping stoves.
Anyway, I’ve really been wanting to make one (or more) of these myself. The above link has instructions, but there are also instructions for a slightly modified version that is supposed to be a bit better. Now I just need to get the time and supplies to do it…
