Figured I ought to blog this while I was thinking about it. And let me say up front that I’m being completely truthful here; this really did happen. I swear. Anyway, last Saturday I played in a big soccer tournament, so I was super exhausted and figured I’m be sleeping like a baby.
So, Sunday morning I woke up (for no apparent reason), looked over at the clock and saw that it was 6:01 am. Way too early, so I promptly went back to sleep. I woke up again and looked at the clock: 7:01. Back to sleep. Wake up: 8:01. Sleep. Wake up: 9:01. “Okay, this is getting really creepy,” I think to myself. Back to sleep once more. And I wake up again. What time might it be? Yep, you guessed it: 10:01 am.
I couldn’t make that up if I wanted to. No alarm, no noticeable sounds from outside or anything. Just waking up every hour at exactly the same time. How freaky is that?

Were you reliving your games maybe? Each soccer match is exactly one hour, uninterrupted, right? I think playing that many games in one day made your mind all screwy. At then end of the hour, on the second, your mind woke you up so you could go off the field and...er..get some rest.
