Tutorial: Page Layout with CSS

Here’s a nice, relatively thorough, tutorial on creating a page layout using :CSS:.  This is a nice single-stop style tutorial since it starts out with some introduction about what CSS is, how it works, and progresses from there.  It’s geared toward use alongside their “Style Master” software, but there’s no problem using the tutorial without it.

This is an older entry and as such, it may be by a guest author or contain formatting problems / extraneous code. If you notice something wrong with the entry, please use the Contact page to let me know the entry title and issue.

Thankie, i cen’t seem to get enough of these tutorials on css. Most are good, but sometimes it doesnt deal with the simplist of problems i have. Perhaps using all of them will help XD.

Where do you find all these? My Googling doesn’t produce many high quality results on css.

Where do I find them?  Linked from other sites; usually those I have over in the “Other Sites” list in the sidebar.  In particular, webgraphics and Zeldman often have good links.  So does Blogdex.

Just a quick rundown Greg, of sites in Chris’s list that I’d recommend right-clicking and adding to a bookmark folder that you visit once a week.  They’re all on my daily morning browse, though they don’t all update daily:

Dive Into Mark
Dive Into Accessibility
webgraphics
Zeldman

I also have A List Apart in there, but Zeldman will link to those on the same day that they get updated, so you don’t have to go there separately.
