Why Should You Validate?
Oh, my… Mark Pilgrim does it again. Mark posts what’s probably one of the best explanations on why you should validate your pages/site. It’s so true, too—I can’t tell you how many times someone has asked me for help on something and I’ve basically given up before really even trying because the code was so obviously not valid that it wasn’t even funny.
Of course, it’s something else altogether if someone tries to validate and doesn’t understand what the errors returned mean. I’ll be more than happy to help in that case because it means that someone wants to learn and more often than not that person will be contributing positively in the future.
