Writings of H.P. Lovecraft

"fetid iridescence”? :D
Lovecraft is one of my Favorites. I would encourage you to read Dagon. Very interesting.
I was looking for links to read the short stories of H.P. Lovecraft, the horror author from the turn of last century, when I discovered that his works prior to 1923 are now public domain. And whether the copyrights of the stories he wrote after 1923 have expired is in dispute because no copyright renewal documents have been found, although Arkham House & August Derleth have independently claimed copyright ownership on Lovecraft’s work. Further searching led me to an interesting discussion at chuggnutt.com.
Anyway if you’d like to read the works of H.P. Lovecraft you may do so here, but beware, because his narrative can be extremely long-winded and mildly filled with rare, archaic words.

"mildly filled”, hehe. For some reason, that harkens me back to the phrase: “lovingly frosted with glucose.”
I’ve never read Lovecraft before, perhaps these shorts will be the subject of my next experiment…
